With over twenty years in the construction industry, primarily owning my own business both building new homes as well as taking on the position of an independent consultant in building and design I started to notice the ever growing demand for companies who are able to work with properties that have been damaged as the result of fire, water, mold and wind damage which is when I decided to open Atlantic Restoration and Remodeling Group.
On top of the building experience I already had I went and became certified in mold re mediation, smoke and soot restoration, lead rrp, as well as asbestos abatement. I have taken the role as Sr. Project Manager to insure that all of our projects large or small run smoothly and efficiently. I have become well versed in property insurance policy to be able to answer any questions our customers may have, and in the event that I do not know the answer I will know where to find it. If you have any questions or are just not sure if what you have is something that we would be the right team for the job, please give me a call and I will be more than happy to guide you in the right direction.
In 2003 I started my career as an entry level inside property adjuster where I was trained in handling low exposure 1st and 3rd party property losses. This is where I was able to obtain my State of CT All Lines Adjusters License. I then moved into the position of both outside and then Sr. property representative both independently and for a Major insurance carrier. I spent 7 years traveling not only in Connecticut but anywhere in the country where I was needed to help working on such catastrophic storms as Hurricanes Wilma and Katrina.
After departing the insurance carrier I have taken on the roll as both Sr. Estimator for Atlantic Restoration and Remodeling Group, LLC. I have become certified in smoke and soot restoration, lead rrp, and asbestos abatement. It is here that I am able to use my extensive knowledge of the property insurance industry to help guide our customers through the claims process smoothly. I am familiar with their rules and regulations thus making the claims process much less stressful for you.
In 2005 after spending several years as a CNC Machinist I was given the opportunity to receive extensive training in the disaster restoration industry. I have received the following designations from the IICRC (The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification). Smoke and soot restoration, water damage restoration, structural drying, and mold remediation.
Since securing these designations, I have run crews of up to 15 technicians working on both large and small, commercial and residential, fire, water, wind, and mold damaged structures. I utilize the knowledge given to me both in the classroom and in the field to insure that you’re the work performed to your property meets or exceeds todays industry standards for this type of work.
